An opportunity to connect in-person with Portland’s mayoral candidates

Portland mayoral candidate Keith Wilson

We are pleased to be hosting an intimate evening to listen and discuss the priorities and vision of Portland’s candidates for mayor in the upcoming November 2024 election.

The first candidate to grace our auditoriums will be Keith Wilson on July 25th at 7:00pm. The entire hour-plus evening will be with a single candidate (Keith) to engage and share with you his vision for Portland. We have extended invitations to Rene Gonzalez, Mingus Mapps, and Carmen Rubio. If you wish to hear from any other mayoral candidates, please encourage them to reach out to us.

We currently have reached the maximum capacity of RSVPs, but you can still show up at the theater to claim a waitlist number to get on the waitlist. Please arrive by 6:30pm.

About Keith Wilson

Keith Wilson was born and raised in North Portland, one of five children, attending Portsmouth/Cesar Chavez, Roosevelt High School, Portland Community College, and Oregon State University before earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of Portland.

Keith began his career in television, which eventually took him to thirty countries before returning to Portland to take the helm of TITAN Freight Systems in 2004, the business his father co-founded decades earlier. Reimagining TITAN as a safety leader, green transportation innovator, and artificial intelligence incubator, Keith led the company to eliminate all fossil fuel usage in their Portland facility, pioneer heavy-duty electric vehicles, and earn a coveted “B-Corp” status for their commitment to community and planet. Keith has a management team comprising over 50% BIPOC and LGBTQ+ directors. He has grown TITAN six times while fostering an unmatched “Vision Zero” safety culture with no injury/accidents over five years and a near-perfect Oregon SAIF worker injury experience rating. Keith has won Innovator of the Year two years running for these efforts, among other awards and accolades.

As a civic leader, Keith spearheaded the creation of the Multnomah County Homeless Court Program, designed to divert vulnerable individuals from the justice system and into supportive services, employment, and housing. He is the Vice Chair for Word is Bond, an organization dedicated to mentoring Portland’s future leaders. Keith volunteers and mentors homeless vets and students and serves as an executive committee member of the US High-Speed Rail Coalition and International Road Federation board member. He is also the founder and director of the political action committee Breathe Easy Oregon, which has advanced bipartisan legislation to support Oregon’s economy while protecting its priceless natural resources.

In 2023, Keith founded Shelter Portland, an innovative nonprofit of civic and federal leaders and local providers with a proven blueprint to end unsheltered homelessness based on successful efforts in other cities. On rare occasions when he is not leading his company or giving back to the community, Keith enjoys the great outdoors with his wife Katherine and children Lilianna and Noah.
